i37 starts - 1600 people arrive for EAS!

Since the doors opened at 6pm this evening, more than 1,600 people have arrived for EAS making it our busiest ever. 1,200 gamers initially signed up for EAS, with an additional 400+ paying on the door, matching i36 attendance figures before the event even officially starts.

Bring on the next 96 hours of LAN!
 
zBlock 4.4 beta released for public use!

A new beta for zBlock was released yesterday with a few new interesting features.

These include features that stop players from bunnyhopping and using the crouch bug ingame, as well as super-boosting.

Due to 4.4 only being in beta stage, "rcon zb_update beta" must be used in order to update from version 4.3.

The fixes can then be enabled with the following commands:

zb_bunnyfix 1

zb_crouchfix 1
 
zBlock 4.3 released

zBlock version 4.3 has been released yesterday.

As you might have noticed the zBlock website has not been accessible in the past days and some authhosts do not work.

This is caused by the persistent downtime of the old web-host zblock.cs-resourced.net. In the meantime the zBlock-team have set up this lightweight zBlock website and a backup download.



Changelog: zBlock 4.2 » 4.3

- Update URL changed to direct to the new web host.
- Auth-hosts can now be used without having to register them with us first.
- The warning dialog shown when players connect will no longer display when the zBlock website is unreachable. However "zb_status" and the console welcome message will still show a warning.
- Added detection for a cvar which removes some walls.
- Removed check for mp_dynamicpricing.

Please note that auto-updating from zBlock version 4.2 will not work.
 
KGL Season 6

TheKGL Season 6 will consist of 24/32 clans split into 3/4 groups of 8 clans. The duration of the whole league will be 7 weeks and will take place on Sunday.
Sign-ups end next Wednesday (June 29th) and the fixtures/tables will be announced the next day.


The prizes shall be 5 x SteelSeries QcK minis for the winners of each division.

Week 1: Sunday July 5th - Contra
Week 2: Sunday July 12th - Inferno
Week 3 - Sunday July 19th - Dust2
Week 4 - Sunday July 26th - Nuke
Week 5 - Sunday August 2nd - Train
Week 6 - Sunday August 9th - Tuscan
Week 7 - Sunday August 16th - Strike
