As most of you may have noticed, ED has moved to a new site and they are having some big problems on there. Here is a post from Bub on the ED forums: Link There have been a lot of posts about the css ladders (open and 2v2) and also a massive amount of people in #edadmins regarding it.
At last check the CSS Open Ladder:
-Had 1100 clans in it as there is no distinction between inactive and active on .eu -Matches were erroring on accept for some glitches regarding match/server details -The ladders were largely untested and unreliable -Critically, there was no open challenge feature.
Earlier trying to put a 2v2 match out it appears there are no maps to pick from and again matches errored on accept and there was no ability to cancel a challenged match.
Both ladders have been marked as 'inactive' from now which means they are not showing up on the site. All the teams/points are still there but they are being hidden.
I personally feel we will alienate teams by releasing the ladders in that state, more so than for having no ladders for the time being.
Not a lot more I can say other than apologise for the sorry state the ladders are in and the fact that the whole reason people are part of ED is not working at the moment.
If anybody has any questions or frustrations, post them up.
ED have announced 3 cups for this week. We are signed up for all of them: MONDAY - de_tuscan: http://www.enemydown.eu/tournaments/114 WEDNESDAY: Vanilla event: http://www.enemydown.eu/tournaments/115 THURSDAY: de_dust2: http://www.enemydown.eu/tournaments/116 |
